STORM DAMAGE TREE SERVICE IN BUCKS & MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA

When a storm comes through and a tree comes down — or is about to — the first thing you should do is call us. O'Brien Tree Care responds to storm damage throughout Bucks and Montgomery Counties, PA, and we move storm calls to the top of the list. We're not a 24/7 dispatch operation, but we're a local crew rooted in this area, and we get out as fast as we can — in most cases same-day or next-day — to assess the situation and get the work done before things get worse.

We handle the full range of storm damage: trees down across driveways or resting on roofs and outbuildings, large limbs hanging by a thread over a structure, trunks split by lightning or ice load, and uprooted trees leaning against fences or into neighboring properties. Some of these jobs require a crane to extract the tree without causing further damage — and we have that capability. We assess each situation on the ground and bring the right equipment and approach to clear it safely.

Tree down or hanging? Call us first.

We prioritize storm calls and respond as fast as we can — typically same-day or next-day. The sooner you call, the sooner we can assess and stabilize.

WHAT WE HANDLE AFTER A STORM

STORM DAMAGE

Fallen Trees

Full removal of trees that have come down across driveways, lawns, fences, or structures — sectioned, hauled, and cleaned up completely. Stump grinding available as an add-on.

Hanging & Broken Limbs

Large limbs cracked or split but still attached are a serious hazard — they can drop without warning. We remove hanging limbs safely and assess the remaining tree for structural integrity.

Trees on Roofs or Structures

When a tree or major limb is resting on a roof, outbuilding, or fence, extraction needs to be planned carefully to avoid further damage. We use cranes when needed to lift sections clear without dragging.

Uprooted & Leaning Trees

High winds can uproot root systems or cause a tree to lean dangerously without falling. These need attention before the next storm finishes the job — we assess and remove before more damage occurs.

Storm Damage Tree Service — FAQs

How fast can you respond to storm damage?

We move storm calls to the top of our list and aim for same-day or next-day response in most cases. After a widespread storm event, there may be a short queue — but call us first and we'll give you an honest timeframe.

Do you work with insurance for storm damage claims?

We can provide documentation of the work performed, which many homeowners use to support an insurance claim. We don't file claims on your behalf, but we'll make sure you have what you need from our side.

What if a tree is on my roof — is it safe to wait?

In most cases, no — additional rain or wind can shift the load and cause more structural damage. Stay away from the affected area and call us as soon as possible. We'll assess it on-site and advise on the safest approach.

Do you handle storm damage across all of Bucks and Montgomery County?

Yes — we serve the full Bucks and Montgomery County region, including Newtown, Doylestown, Horsham, Hatboro, Warminster, Yardley, and surrounding communities. Call 215-757-1542 for a fast response.

TESTIMONIAL

Some reviews reference O'Brien Family Tree Service, our former name — same family, same team.

Did an excellent job removing three, large, Locust Trees from my back yard on November 2-3, 2018. It was very easy working with Tom O'Brien and his daughter Jennifer. The tree removal crew were professional. O'Brien Family Tree Service is also used by the Homeowner's Association in the development in which I live.

They are wonderful and Jennifer is the best. Fair and honest and reliable. They trim trees and grind stumps and remove fallen trees.

I have used O'Brien Family Tree Service for many years, and they never disappoint. The crew is great, their prices are reasonable, and it's easy to get a quote and make an appointment. A very professional company and staff.

Truly awesome experience! They removed 4 very large trees in one day. My property looked like they were never there. Except the trees were gone! One tree was very close to my neighbors fence and they removed it and ground the stump with no impact on the fence. Highly recommend!

We are very appreciative of the excellent service provided by O'Brien Family Tree Service. From our initial contact to the estimate provided to the actual tree trimming work completed by the crew, we could not be more pleased. We felt as though the price was quite reasonable considering the work that needed to be done. The crew arrived when we were told they would and they were extremely efficient in completing the job. All of the guys were polite and professional and they did a great job cleaning up. Without a doubt, I will recommend O'Brien Family Tree Service to others. This is the second time we have used O'Brien and I will be sure to call again should we have more tree work to be done in the future. Thank you for being a great resource for us and for our community.

I can't say enough about O'Brien Family Tree Service! From start to finish, our experience with them was exceptional. We needed 2 large trees and 1 large Holly bush removed on our property. They also did 2 stump grindings for us. The work was professional and efficient, and the price was very reasonable! They not only made sure they were safe while doing the work, they took precautions to protect our house as well. What I appreciated most was the communication. From the initial consultation on, we knew exactly what was getting done, when and why. We will be recommending O'Brien Family Tree Service to all our friends and family.
